REFUND POLICY
This Refund Policy explains the circumstances in which Eurogigs Membership fees may or may not be refunded.
This Refund Policy forms part of the Eurogigs Terms and Conditions.
Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or replace any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under applicable law.
1. MEMBERSHIP PAYMENTS
Eurogigs Memberships are paid subscriptions providing access to the Eurogigs network, professional support and related Services during the applicable Membership period.
Membership fees are normally charged in advance.
The available Membership plans and prices are displayed before payment.
Current standard Membership pricing may include:
Monthly Membership: INR 499 per month
Annual Membership: INR 2,499 per year
The price applicable to you will be the price displayed at the time of purchase, subject to applicable taxes and any clearly disclosed charges.
2. GENERAL REFUND PRINCIPLE
Membership fees are generally non-refundable after the applicable Membership period has commenced, including where a Member:
voluntarily cancels the Membership;
stops using the Services;
does not log into the platform;
does not apply for Opportunities;
does not respond to Opportunities;
does not receive an interview;
does not receive an assignment;
does not obtain employment; or
otherwise chooses not to use the Services during the paid Membership period.
The Services are based on access to a professional network, support, evaluation, matching and representation efforts.
Your subscription pays for access to the Eurogigs network, professional support and representation efforts — not for a guaranteed employment or assignment outcome.
However, this general no-refund principle is always subject to mandatory rights under applicable law.
3. STATUTORY CONSUMER RIGHTS
Nothing in this Refund Policy affects any mandatory statutory rights you may have.
Where consumer protection law provides a right to cancel, withdraw or obtain a refund, Eurogigs will honour that right.
In particular, where applicable law gives consumers a statutory withdrawal period for online purchases, that right will apply unless a lawful exception applies.
For EU consumers, applicable consumer law may provide a 14-day withdrawal period for certain distance contracts. Specific rules apply where a service begins during the withdrawal period and where the consumer has expressly requested commencement before the withdrawal period expires.
4. REQUESTING IMMEDIATE COMMENCEMENT OF SERVICES
Where permitted by applicable law, you may request that Eurogigs begin providing the Services immediately after purchase rather than waiting until the end of any applicable statutory withdrawal period.
Where the law requires an express request or acknowledgement for this, the relevant request or acknowledgement will be obtained during the purchase or registration process.
Where applicable law permits Eurogigs to charge for Services supplied before a withdrawal is exercised, the amount may be calculated proportionately to the Services supplied before the withdrawal.
Where applicable law provides that a withdrawal right is lost after full performance of a service following the required express consent and acknowledgement, Eurogigs may rely on that legal provision.
5. CANCELLATION OF RECURRING MEMBERSHIP
You may cancel a recurring Membership at any time.
Cancellation normally prevents future automatic renewals.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, cancellation does not automatically result in a refund for the current paid Membership period.
For example, if you purchase an annual Membership and cancel it after several months, the annual Membership may remain active until the end of the paid annual period, but it will not automatically renew for another year.
The same principle applies to monthly Memberships.
6. RENEWAL PAYMENTS
If you do not cancel a recurring Membership before the next renewal date, the Membership may renew and the applicable renewal fee may be charged.
A renewal payment is normally non-refundable once the new Membership period has commenced, except where:
a refund is required by applicable law;
Eurogigs expressly agrees to a refund;
a duplicate or erroneous charge has occurred; or
another specific circumstance described in this Refund Policy applies.
Members are responsible for cancelling recurring subscriptions before renewal if they do not wish to continue the Membership, subject to applicable consumer rights.
7. DUPLICATE OR ERRONEOUS PAYMENTS
If you are charged twice for the same Membership transaction due to an identifiable technical or processing error, Eurogigs will review the transaction and, where appropriate, refund the duplicate charge.
If you believe a payment was made incorrectly, contact:
Please provide the relevant transaction reference where available.
8. UNAUTHORISED TRANSACTIONS
If you believe a transaction was not authorised by you, you should contact Eurogigs promptly and, where applicable, your payment provider.
Eurogigs may investigate the transaction and request reasonable information necessary to determine whether the transaction was authorised.
Nothing in this section limits statutory rights relating to unauthorised payment transactions.
9. PAYMENT FAILURES
If a recurring payment fails, Eurogigs may attempt to process the payment again through the applicable payment provider where permitted.
If payment remains unsuccessful, Eurogigs may suspend or terminate the relevant paid Services.
A failed payment does not automatically create a right to a refund for any earlier paid Membership period.
10. EUROGIGS SERVICE INTERRUPTION
If Eurogigs is unable to provide a material part of the paid Services for a significant period due to a technical issue within Eurogigs’ reasonable control, Eurogigs may, depending on the circumstances:
restore access;
extend the Membership period;
provide a partial refund;
provide another appropriate remedy; or
provide another remedy required by applicable law.
The appropriate remedy will depend on the nature, duration and circumstances of the interruption and applicable law.
11. TERMINATION BY EUROGIGS
Eurogigs may suspend or terminate an account where permitted under the Terms and Conditions, including in cases of:
fraud;
misuse;
material breach of the Terms;
submission of false professional information;
abusive behaviour;
unlawful activity;
security risks; or
failure to make required payments.
Where termination is caused by the Member’s breach or unlawful conduct, the Member will not automatically be entitled to a refund for the unused portion of a Membership period, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Where Eurogigs terminates a Membership for reasons unrelated to the Member’s breach and applicable law requires a refund or other remedy, Eurogigs will provide the remedy required by law.
12. NO REFUND FOR PROFESSIONAL OUTCOME
Membership fees are not fees for a guaranteed job or assignment.
Accordingly, a Member is not entitled to a refund merely because:
no Customer contacts the Member;
no interview is obtained;
an application is unsuccessful;
a Customer rejects the Member;
a Customer cancels an Opportunity;
an Opportunity is withdrawn;
the Member does not obtain employment;
the Member does not receive an assignment;
the Member does not earn a particular income; or
the Member believes that the Services did not produce the professional result expected.
Eurogigs does not guarantee any specific professional outcome.
13. REPRESENTATION DOES NOT CREATE A REFUND GUARANTEE
Professional representation is an effort-based service.
Eurogigs may review, improve, match and present a Member’s profile, but the availability and outcome of an Opportunity depends on external factors.
A Member’s eligibility for a refund is therefore not determined by whether a Customer ultimately chooses to proceed.
This does not affect any mandatory statutory rights.
14. REFUND REQUESTS
Where you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact:
Please provide:
full name;
account email;
transaction reference;
date of payment; and
a brief explanation of the refund request.
Eurogigs may request reasonable additional information where necessary to verify the transaction or assess the request.
15. REFUND METHOD
Where a refund is approved, it will normally be returned using the original payment method, unless:
the payment provider cannot process the refund;
applicable law requires another method; or
another method is mutually agreed.
Processing times may depend on the payment provider and the Member’s bank.
16. TAXES AND PAYMENT PROCESSING FEES
Where a refund is required by law or approved by Eurogigs, the treatment of taxes and payment-processing charges will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the transaction.
Eurogigs will not deduct amounts that it is legally prohibited from deducting.
17. CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES
If you believe a payment was incorrect, please contact Eurogigs first where reasonably possible so that we can investigate and resolve the matter.
Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising any rights available through your payment provider, card issuer, bank or applicable law.
18. CHANGES TO THIS REFUND POLICY
Eurogigs may update this Refund Policy from time to time.
The latest version will be published on the website with the relevant “Last Updated” date.
Changes will not retrospectively remove mandatory rights that applied to a transaction when it was made.
19. GOVERNING LAW AND MANDATORY RIGHTS
This Refund Policy shall be interpreted consistently with the governing-law provisions contained in the Eurogigs Terms and Conditions.
Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes or limits mandatory consumer protection rights applicable to the Member.
Where a provision of this Refund Policy conflicts with a mandatory legal right, the mandatory legal right will prevail to the extent of the conflict.

21. FINAL PRINCIPLE
Eurogigs operates on the principle that Membership provides access to a professional network, professional support, opportunity matching and representation efforts.
Membership is not a payment for a guaranteed job, interview, assignment, salary or income.
Membership fees are therefore generally non-refundable after the relevant Membership period has commenced, subject always to any statutory withdrawal, cancellation, refund or other consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
