Senior Insurance Transformation Analyst

A European insurance organisation is strengthening its transformation capabilities and is looking for a senior consultant to help translate business needs into practical changes across processes, systems and digital services. The assignment sits at the intersection of insurance operations and technology, with a strong focus on improving how business requirements are understood, structured and delivered.You will work with business stakeholders, product teams and technical specialists to investigate existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement and shape solutions that can be implemented effectively. The role covers the full journey from discovery and analysis through solution definition, delivery support and business validation.

• Analyse existing insurance processes and identify opportunities for simplification, automation and digital improvement.
• Work directly with business representatives to understand operational challenges, objectives and desired outcomes.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and structured discussions to turn business needs into clearly defined solution requirements.
• Create process models, functional concepts and structured documentation that can be used throughout delivery.
• Translate operational requirements into specifications that development and architecture teams can work with.
• Break larger business initiatives into manageable capabilities, features and delivery items.
• Support prioritisation discussions by assessing business value, dependencies and implementation considerations.
• Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, architects and testing specialists throughout delivery.
• Review implemented functionality against business expectations and support user acceptance activities.
• Maintain clear links between business objectives, requirements, solution decisions and delivered functionality.

• Several years of professional experience in business analysis, requirements consulting, product analysis or a comparable role.
• Strong understanding of structured requirements practices and business process analysis.
• Practical experience working with process modelling techniques such as BPMN.
• Proven ability to facilitate workshops and communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in agile delivery environments such as Scrum, Kanban or SAFe.
• Strong ability to create functional documentation, process descriptions, user focused requirements and solution specifications.
• Professional experience within the insurance sector, preferably involving complex operational or policy related processes.
• Ability to work independently in complex transformation programmes and bring structure to unclear or evolving requirements.
• Experience with insurance administration, policy management or other core insurance platforms is advantageous.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence is beneficial.
• Knowledge of insurance technology, process automation or digital transformation initiatives is an advantage.
