SAP FI Business Analyst

A European enterprise is strengthening its finance technology landscape and is looking for an experienced Requirements and Delivery Manager to support the development of SAP based accounting solutions. The assignment sits between business operations, product development and technical delivery, with a strong focus on turning complex finance requirements into clear and implementable solutions.You will work with stakeholders across finance, technology and external delivery teams to improve core accounting processes and the systems supporting them. Particular attention will be given to accounts receivable, billing related workflows, customer communication, debt collection and the integration of internal and external service providers.The role is well suited to a consultant who can move comfortably between business analysis and delivery management. You will be expected to challenge requirements where necessary, identify dependencies, shape practical solution proposals and ensure that development teams receive clear specifications they can work with.

• Gather and analyse business and technical requirements from finance, product, technology and external stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into structured requirements for SAP Finance related development.
• Create and maintain epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specifications.
• Evaluate requirements based on business value, feasibility, complexity and potential reuse.
• Support backlog prioritisation and provide recommendations to product and delivery stakeholders.
• Develop solution concepts for improving existing accounting processes and introducing new capabilities.
• Coordinate requirements related to system interfaces and integrations with internal and external platforms.
• Identify dependencies, unresolved topics and delivery risks and ensure they are documented and followed up.
• Prepare decision material, requirements documentation and delivery roadmaps for implementation teams.
• Review functional deliverables for completeness, consistency, feasibility and alignment with agreed requirements.
• Support handover from requirements definition into development, testing and implementation.

• 3+ years of professional experience in requirements engineering, business analysis, technical product development or delivery management.
• Experience working with SAP FI or comparable enterprise finance systems.
• Strong understanding of requirements modelling, user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specifications.
• Practical knowledge of accounting processes, accounts receivable or receivables management is highly valued.
• Ability to understand business processes and translate them into technically actionable requirements.
• Experience working with software development teams and managing dependencies across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to work independently.
• English proficiency at C1 level or equivalent professional working proficiency.
