Overview
A global logistics transformation is introducing a new transportation management model across several operating regions. The consultant will take a leading role in translating complex transport processes into an SAP TM design that can support different business units without becoming a collection of local exceptions. Considerable time will be spent resolving process conflicts and making design decisions that hold up beyond the initial rollout.
Responsibilities
- Lead SAP TM design across transportation planning, execution and settlement processes.
- Facilitate workshops with logistics specialists from multiple regions.
- Define where standard SAP processes should be used and where controlled extensions are justified.
- Coordinate integration requirements with S/4HANA and surrounding logistics systems.
- Support testing, cutover planning and issue resolution during rollout.
Requirements
- 10+ years of SAP consulting experience with substantial SAP TM exposure.
- Deep knowledge of transportation planning and execution processes.
- Strong SAP S/4HANA integration understanding.
- Experience leading international template or rollout programmes.
- Able to challenge business requirements constructively and document clear design decisions.
