Overview
A media platform is consolidating several web applications and needs a Laravel developer to handle new functionality while improving the reliability of established services. The consultant will work with backend developers and content specialists on integrations, performance and application maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Develop new application functionality within the existing Laravel platform.
- Improve performance and reliability across established web applications.
- Build and maintain integrations with external services and internal systems.
- Investigate application issues and contribute to ongoing maintenance and technical improvements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional PHP development.
- Strong Laravel experience with modern application architecture.
- Solid MySQL knowledge including query analysis and optimisation.
- Experience integrating external APIs and third party services.
- Good understanding of Git based development workflows.
- Familiarity with queues, caching and Redis is useful.
