Overview
A technology programme is consolidating several business applications around a Microsoft cloud environment and needs a solution architect to guide the technical direction. You will work across application, infrastructure and security teams and turn business constraints into realistic architecture decisions.
Responsibilities
- Define solution architecture for applications moving into the Microsoft cloud environment.
- Coordinate technical decisions across application, infrastructure and security teams.
- Produce architecture diagrams and decision records for delivery teams.
- Challenge proposed solutions where security, scalability or operational constraints are not adequately addressed.
Requirements
- 7+ years in solution architecture or senior engineering roles.
- Strong Azure knowledge across application and infrastructure services.
- Experience designing secure and scalable enterprise solutions.
- Ability to produce architecture diagrams, decision records and technical principles.
- Good understanding of identity, networking and cloud security.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non technical groups.
