Overview
A data platform team is rebuilding parts of its reporting landscape and needs a consultant who can turn fragmented operational data into dependable pipelines. You will work with analysts and platform engineers to improve ingestion, transformation and data quality across the environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve data pipelines supporting reporting and analytical workloads.
- Integrate operational data from multiple sources and improve transformation quality.
- Investigate pipeline failures and data quality issues across the platform.
- Work with analysts and platform engineers on scalable data solutions and performance improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional data engineering experience.
- Strong SQL and Python skills.
- Experience building data pipelines on Microsoft Azure.
- Practical knowledge of Azure Data Factory or Databricks.
- Understanding of dimensional modelling and data quality controls.
- Experience handling large datasets with clear attention to performance.
