Overview
A software organisation is moving a larger part of its infrastructure into AWS and is looking for an engineer to improve the platform foundation. The assignment includes infrastructure automation, operational resilience and closer alignment between development and platform teams.
Responsibilities
- Improve the AWS platform foundation supporting development and production workloads.
- Build and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform and related tooling.
- Strengthen monitoring, logging and operational resilience across cloud environments.
- Work with development teams to improve deployment practices and platform consistency.
Requirements
- 4+ years working with cloud infrastructure.
- Strong AWS experience across compute, networking and storage services.
- Practical Terraform skills and infrastructure as code experience.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and container based workloads.
- Experience improving monitoring, logging and incident response.
- Ability to work with development teams on deployment standards.
