Overview
A logistics technology platform is strengthening the services responsible for live shipment information across several European markets. The assignment is centred on high concurrency systems, efficient APIs and reliable communication between independently deployed services.
Responsibilities
- Build backend services responsible for live shipment information.
- Improve service performance and reliability under high concurrent traffic.
- Design and maintain communication between independently deployed platform services.
- Support production troubleshooting and improvements to platform observability.
Requirements
- 3+ years of production experience with Go.
- Strong understanding of concurrency and parallel processing.
- Experience building high volume backend services.
- Good knowledge of PostgreSQL or a comparable relational database.
- Familiarity with gRPC and protocol buffers is required.
- Experience running containerised workloads in Kubernetes is an advantage.
